Translation notes
This is a fresh English translation made directly from all 18 Dutch screenshots, not from the Google-translated PDF previously circulated online. Successive screenshots overlap; those overlaps were used to verify continuity and resolve line-break and OCR artifacts. The translation includes the complete prose, interview, section headings, pull quotes, and image captions visible in the screenshots. Speaker identifiers have been added to the question-and-answer section for clarity; the printed article distinguishes the speakers typographically but does not print their names before each exchange.
The Dutch expression “op sterk water gezet” in the Magenta passage has been translated as “preserved in fluid.” Literally, the expression is “put in strong water,” but idiomatically it means preserving a biological specimen in a liquid such as alcohol or formalin. The Dutch article does not specify formaldehyde. The statement also occurs in Moszkowicz’s narrative summary attributed to Grusch, not in a directly quoted Grusch answer.
The article’s factual claims, institutional names, and occasional awkward constructions have been translated as printed. Translation does not imply verification or endorsement. In particular, the article prints “NGA (National Geospatial Agency),” “AWSAP,” and describes Roberto Pinotti as a former head of Italian intelligence.
Even Mussolini Saw Them Fly
Slowly, the realization is dawning that we are not alone in the immense universe. In the United States in particular, that discussion has gained momentum after various presidents established committees that are seriously engaged with UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomenon). Nieuwe Revu spoke with UFO whistleblower David Grusch, who reveals the existence and possession of UFOs and the bodies of non-terrestrial pilots.
Text by Max Moszkowicz
Before we turn to the conversation with David Grusch, some background: I have been covering everything concerning UFOs/UAPs for Nieuwe Revu for two years. Two weeks ago, two other Dutch journalists and I were shown what my source—who wishes to remain anonymous for the time being—regards as evidence of extraterrestrial existence. We were shown a preview of the interview in which CIA whistleblower David Grusch steps out from under the shadow of his secrecy obligations within the UAP Task Force and reveals that the Americans apparently have possessed UFOs/UAPs for decades.
We were also shown documents that support these claims by Grusch. According to Grusch, over the past ninety years these UFOs have either crashed and been recovered by intelligence services, or have been excavated as though they were archaeological discoveries. Since then, according to people in the circle of this prominent whistleblower, highly select organizations have been trying to work out how the crashed, presumably non-terrestrial devices function. According to these insiders, the technology employed is light-years ahead of our technology, which would explain the great importance of the decades of secrecy and cover-up mechanisms maintained by, among others, the U.S. government.
The lead-up
Let us rewind the tape to 2017: the moment journalists Lesley Kean and Ralph Blumenthal broke the historic news in The New York Times that American military fighter pilots were regularly observing UFOs/UAPs in U.S. airspace with their onboard FLIR cameras. CNN shared the accompanying leaked footage, which quickly spread around the world. The person who leaked the footage and information was no mere office boy: it was Christopher Mellon, the former supreme chief of the American intelligence services.
Mellon’s confidant and right-hand man Luis (Lue) Elizondo, who for ten years headed the Pentagon’s secret AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Investigation Program), becomes the face of “UAP disclosure.” In his role as an ambassador for the phenomenon, he gives many interviews, including one with yours truly. It marks the beginning of considerable turmoil within American political, military, and intelligence circles.
The U.S. Congress feels excluded from important information about this phenomenon and forces former president Donald Trump into one of the last feints of his political career: his ultimatum giving the intelligence services 180 days to share everything they know about UAPs with Congress. Some of this information may even be shared with the public, provided it does not compromise U.S. national security. What emerges is that, over recent decades, the military establishment has recorded more than 144 observations that could not be explained as anything other than UAP—meaning unidentified.
From that moment, things begin to bubble and simmer in Washington. Politicians openly clash and publicly sling mud at one another. Luis Elizondo also bears the brunt of it. He is portrayed as a charlatan, someone who inflates his own role within the Pentagon. He is all but dismissed as the gym janitor. The late Senator Harry Reid (1939–2021), who had established the research program and arranged its funding, comes to Mellon and Elizondo’s rescue with an official letter confirming that Elizondo really did lead the secret AATIP research program and therefore is not a charlatan. Nevertheless, enemies with a different agenda on Capitol Hill continually discredit the pair. Under intense pressure from these campaigns against them, Mellon and Elizondo decide to step out of the UAP spotlight. Under the radar, however, they continue visiting Capitol Hill, where they keep informing senators willing to listen—including Marco Rubio, Mark Warner, and Kirsten Gillibrand.
The supportive political and military whistleblowers promise to bring forward further revelations about the phenomenon, and a lively stream of podcasters, journalists, and influencers emerges to interview anyone and everyone who might be able to say something about the UAP observations.
Apart from the leaked—and difficult to assess—footage, however, not much else comes out. Moreover, the clips lack clear scientific substantiation, such as radar data, radio signals, or exotic biological trace material, and therefore possess too little evidential force. The only thing to hold on to is the fact that multiple trained military eyewitnesses saw the same thing at the same time, under the same circumstances, and recorded images of UAPs.

Orange orb
That is also what I concluded from interviews I conducted with Luis Elizondo in March and May 2021. In them, he revealed that, according to him, the Pentagon appears to have been troubled for decades by UAPs that show up above military air-force bases where nuclear weapons are stored. That led me to former Air Force officer Robert Salas, who in 1967 was in command of the nuclear “Minuteman missiles” at “Malmstrom Airbase.” At the time, they stood ready to be fired at Moscow during a nuclear conflict with the Russians. Salas was responsible for the missiles and, if necessary, was required to launch them at Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
Pull quote: “The panicked MP shouted that an orange orb was hanging above the base, moving aggressively back and forth and disabling missiles.”
Salas said that one day he received a hysterical telephone call from a member of the military police guarding the airfield above ground. The panicked MP shouted that an orange orb was hovering over the base and moving aggressively back and forth. Salas rushed to the underground panel where the missile controls were located and watched them turn red one after another, indicating: missile disabled. According to Salas, the UAP therefore disabled his nuclear missiles. Like Elizondo, Salas also revealed that this appeared to be a regular occurrence and that the military leadership was at a loss over it.
Elizondo further claimed that the United States was not the only superpower troubled by UAPs. He said that friendly as well as hostile states (Russia) observed the same phenomenon and had not known what to do about it for decades.
In May 2021, I also had the honor of interviewing the late Senator Harry Reid, the politician who not only helped put Bill Clinton and Barack Obama in office, but also single-handedly secured political funding for AATIP and its predecessor, AWSAP. He obtained $22 million from Congress, and the rest of the budget was supplemented by the controversial billionaire Robert Bigelow. Senator Reid also said that he considered the invulnerability of the UAPs observed by the Air Force and Navy a security risk, and that he found it incomprehensible that the U.S. government was not doing more about it. He did, however, offer a possible explanation. Reid once asked to take a look inside the aerospace development company Lockheed Martin, but was flatly denied access.

The whistleblower
Back to the present, and to Nieuwe Revu’s interview with David Grusch: a whistleblower who, despite his still-valid “top secret security clearance GS-15,” decides to reveal that UAPs are in American possession. Grusch has verifiably worked inside the Pentagon with the very highest security clearance, including within the UAP Task Force. This is the branch of the Pentagon that conducts UAP research at a more secret level, under the umbrella of the NGA (National Geospatial Agency), which possesses much more information and documentation concerning possible extraterrestrial visits to Earth. According to Grusch, research into UAPs goes back more than eight decades.
In the view of Grusch, who is no longer active within the UAP Task Force, his organization has not told the U.S. Congress everything about the possession of UAPs, despite the transparency imposed upon it. In fact, he claims that an organization exists that operates even more secretly within the Pentagon and possesses information that has not been shared with the UAP Task Force. A great deal has nevertheless reached him through other channels, and he has received backing from military and intelligence heavyweights such as his superior, Colonel Karl E. Nell.
Grusch’s principal claim is that exotic biological material created through superior nonhuman technology is indeed in U.S. hands. More than that: he speaks of several crashed UFOs and even the bodies of aliens. Grusch says that he has examined documents—and possesses some of them—that prove his claims. The problem, however, is that he is not permitted to show these documents. His account therefore remains primarily anecdotal, since he himself never saw UFOs or aliens during his years of service. But Grusch, like Senator Reid, also says that Lockheed Martin may possess the recovered extraterrestrial technology and, on behalf of the state, is applying this new extraterrestrial technology in its development programs.
A few weeks ago, my anonymous source, who is close to Grusch’s inner circle, allowed me to inspect these “official documents,” and they appear genuine to me. They bear official logos and are signed by the I.G.—an officially appointed and designated person who must sign to attest to the authenticity of a secret document—in other words, the inspector general. It is certain that everything involving UAPs moving within U.S. borders (land, airspace, and waters) is, and remains, strictly classified. But there are not (yet) any rules governing things that do not take place—or did not take place—on sovereign American territory and that, moreover, are already quite old. Grusch can share this with the outside world.
The most imaginative revelation is that the United States possesses a UAP/UFO that crashed near the northern Italian town of Magenta in the early 1930s. But how did the Americans obtain this UFO? In 1933, the fascist dictator Benito Mussolini is informed by his panicked intelligence service about a crashed aerial vehicle that they do not recognize as anything human. At first the Italians nevertheless think their German neighbors to the north have lost a secret weapon, but the Germans know nothing about it. An Italian version of Area 51 is quickly built, and an attempt is made to study the vehicle. During the Second World War, the Americans invade Italy by way of Sicily, after which they eventually also come across the UFO. The object is transported to America and stored, presumably, at Area 51/S-4. A certain Roberto Pinotti, who heads a UFO research organization (ICER) in Italy and was a former head of the Italian intelligence service, obtained the government documents that had been verified as genuine—according to him, from an anonymous benefactor. They reveal the Italian intelligence service’s cover-up through telegram correspondence with Il Duce. Freely translated, they say that the media must report that a meteorite struck, not an unknown extraterrestrial aircraft. Grusch possesses a small document bearing a drawing of the UFO, supplemented with notes by someone in Mussolini’s entourage. And then there is Grusch’s assertion that the United States also possesses two extraterrestrial bodies found at the site in Magenta where the UAP crash occurred in 1933. According to Grusch, these too were transported to Area 51 and preserved there in fluid. The whistleblower added in passing that a total of eleven UFOs had been recovered and subsequently hidden from the outside world. It is high time to question the whistleblower himself.

Interview
Moszkowicz: Have you been threatened over what you are now revealing?
Grusch: “I cannot comment on that, but some very unpleasant things have happened, both personally and professionally.”
Moszkowicz: Why are you blowing the whistle?
Grusch: “I know that the U.S. Department of Defense is withholding crucial information from Congress, particularly the possession of UAPs and the physical remains of aliens by our intelligence services. They refuse to share crucial information and deny its existence. It is even criminal to withhold this from your governing officials. That is why I began blowing the whistle.”
Moszkowicz: How were you able to do that? Do you have some kind of security clearance?
Grusch: “That is due in part to the NDAA Whistleblower Act, which guarantees protection for whistleblowers. I filed a complaint in May 2022 and had an intelligence-officer witness statement prepared.”
Moszkowicz: How did you get the inspector general to allow you to share information about the Mussolini UAP?
Grusch: “Because this UAP crash took place on Italian soil and, moreover, it happened almost ninety years ago.”
Moszkowicz: Are America and Italy the only countries involved?
Grusch: “No, cases are also known in Russia, for example. It even culminated in a race with the Russians over who could be the first to master the UAP technology.”
Moszkowicz: What is the most important thing this UAP technology can offer humanity?
Grusch: “One of the most scandalous aspects of withholding the technology is that we could have been generating clean energy for decades, but instead deliberately continue polluting the Earth with oil. Climate-change technology is being withheld. This technology has the potential to have an enormously positive impact on the ecosystem. The Department of Energy, which is also part of the intelligence services, has some explaining to do, because this is a crime against humanity and the Earth. We use the technology for war rather than for peace and nature. The people withholding this will someday have to seek amnesty somewhere for crimes against humanity.”

Moszkowicz: Have people tried to raise this issue before?
Grusch: “Yes, but they have disappeared, or have been silenced with severe threats. This is life-threatening knowledge.”
